The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a Construction Plant Operator. A Construction Plant Operator operates surface construction plant and equipment in various construction sectors.
The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to function as an Occupational Health and Safety Officer. Occupational Health and Safety Officers monitor compliance with health and safety systems and processes in an organisation. They identify hazards and assess risks to health and safety and recommend the implementation of appropriate health and safety controls where required. A qualified learner will demonstrate the following key attributes: teamwork, results oriented, tenacity, self-motivation, effective communication, fairness and consistency.
The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a Firefighter. A Firefighter performs a variety of tasks, associated with responding to and dealing with fires and emergency situations and participating in fire prevention/safety work and training exercises. The fire fighter ensures station and equipment maintenance to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient emergency services in order to protect life, environment and property.
The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as an Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner. n Occupational Health and Safety Practitioners serve as a facilitator and advisor to employees and management regarding safety and health aspects in the workplace including the monitoring and inspecting of the workplace and the recording and investigation of incidents and accidents. They also implement and maintain Occupational Health and Safety systems in order to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
A Rigger uses basic, intermediate and advance lifting techniques to shift, lift, move, place and secure loads at end-points, without damage. The Rigger operates a variety of mechanical lifting equipment and supervises the operations of lifting machines to perform lifting operations. In addition, the Rigger provides access to the work area by means of erecting and dismantling scaffolding that is maintained for use throughout the working period. A Rigger also assembles fall prevention systems as a safe method of access to their working area and performs climbing techniques safely. They work with a variety of fibre and steel wire ropes.

This entry-level program equips learners with the essential knowledge and skills to respond to common medical emergencies. Participants will learn how to assess situations, provide basic life support, control bleeding, and manage injuries until professional medical help arrives

Building on the foundations of Basic First Aid, this program is tailored for those who may be expected to take on greater responsibility in an emergency. Learners will expand their knowledge of medical conditions, injuries, and emergency procedures, enabling them to manage more complex situations with confidence.

This comprehensive program is designed for high-risk workplaces and individuals in supervisory or designated first responder roles. Participants will develop the advanced competencies needed to lead emergency response efforts, manage multiple casualties, and stabilize critical conditions until advanced medical support is available.
